Disguised blocks?
While I was mining a stairway down suddenly "all" blocks appeared as smooth stone until they got touched a single time upon they changed to there normal appearance. Is this a bug, glitch or some mod I could have accidentally have turned on? How do I get rid of it?

What modpack from FTB? I know Gregtech has some ore hiding stuff in it (and as far as I know: some bugs included). Or it is a newwer version of gregtech then what I played or it is some weird random bug.

@Arperum "vanilla" FTB unleashed. Just installed and pressed play, well... with johnsmith 32x texture pack. Restarting FTB launcher and loading the game again fixed it though. But i might have touched a hotkey since i was looking for the map marker button.

It is entirely possible that (if you are playing on a server) that they are using the plugin Orebfuscator, which is an effective anti-xray plugin, by disguising blocks.

I am not playing on a server. Still not sure what this could have been, like i said it might have been a hotkey in FTB unleashed since i was looking for another hotkey.
